i will never let go of reflections - why not double the beauty, the consciousness, the love? i am letting go of fear though and of attachment. and these views - they do not always have to be this grand, i truly enjoy all that nature offers because it is all perfection - help me on my way. if i would walk past this kind of a moment without making notice of it, without being grateful that i have the eyes and the mind to see it, then it would mean i am not really alive.

summer in Tallinn or more so, an angle on it. i actually like our capital city in many ways - in at least as many as i dislike it. for one - there's variety and choice when it comes to making decisions about pastimes. several different beaches, an abundance of parks, varied urban landscapes... in other words there exists the possibility for new discoveries and being an adventurous being, i like it. for me an adventure can be anything starting from a new vista or a new taste and going all the way to hitchhiking thousands of kilometers to get to a party.

you know how sometimes, after visiting a pompous castle on the hilltop and after being amazed by the most gorgeous views from the top of the mountain, you climb down and find a place that is even more captivating. this small giftshop was full of artisan pottery and wind chimes made music in there and the owner was a wise old caballero who changed his tune towards us once he found out we were not mere sunbathing tourists but had come to spain to actually learn. plus i speak spanish. so he allowed us to take photos of the place which i did with my old zenit camera. and it was only until later that i noticed the humorous aspect of the shop's name.

went to the countryside to visit my grandfather today. hadn't been there for a couple of years. sadly. right now as the weather is shit outside i needed sth to warm me up and what better than a sip of nostalgia and good-old. i remember this spring me and my brother were driven to the funeral of my grand-aunt by a route that we used to drive almost daily with our parents. south-estonian roads are full of twists and turns and rises and falls and sometimes the falls make one's stomach feel tickly. it's a sensation of childhood for me and my brother. when we felt it, we couldn't help but look at each other and knowingly smile, even laugh.
and i was lying a bit in the previous post. south-e is still gorgeous, but has changed its tune.

haven't been here for quite a while now. as it is october once again (26th of my life) i am once again reminded of All Things That Inspire. i think it's brought on by the beauty in decay. what is inspiration for me? it's a reflection because reflections double (or triple or multiply by whatever number's your favourite) sensations. reflections are never the truth and they do not claim to be, so that's pure honesty. reflections paint the pavement with the sky and dying leaves. (self-)reflections help me move on. and i do hope that i am always moving on. reflections may be put together of shards and pieces so sometimes they collage simple things together in innovative or unexpected ways and that is where genius lies. and reflections are never just lying there but they're there to be noticed and to be gazed at from an angle or many different ones. and people reflect as well. their reflections widen and sometimes shake to core the worlds of others around them. it's an adventure.
